Welcome to our Royal Beer Festival Website.

Last year our first Royal Beer Festival raised over £7000 for local and international Rotary charities. With the help of our generous sponsors and the support of local people, we are hoping to exceed this amount in 2012. This year we have chosen a local charity, The Heart of Southport Appeal, which is raising money to buy advanced heart treatment equipment for Southport Infirmary.

We have made some improvements to our festival, including longer opening hours, cooling of the beer to enhance quality, delivery of some of the beer through hand pumps and a full programme of entertainments.

So we look forward to seeing you at Mere Brow Village Hall and hope that you enjoy the 30 real ales from around the UK, a selection of European bottled beers, ciders and wine.
